Kirkland Investments purchased a 62 acre site in 2017. Since then they have serviced the site with road, sewerage, water and electricity.
As part of a wider masterplan vision for Towlerton to be transformed into a medical led campus, a strategic decision was taken to dispose of a plot of land to Bons Secours. They are investing over €300 million in a new 150 bed private hospital on the land.
